Directory Shops is an online business directory where visitors can search for businesses, shops, accommodation providers, restaurants, professional services and other commercial activities.
Registered users may create and manage business listings containing information such as business names, descriptions, locations, contact information, photographs, logos, websites, social media profiles and links to third-party platforms.
Directory Shops provides a directory and information service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Directory Shops is not the seller or provider of the products or services offered by listed businesses.
Some features of Directory Shops require a registered account.
Users must provide accurate information when creating and using an account.
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and for activity carried out through their account.
If a user believes that their account has been accessed without authorization, they should contact Directory Shops as soon as possible.
Directory Shops may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law or the rights of other users.
Directory Shops may allow a registered user to publish one free business listing.
A free listing is valid for 360 days from its publication date.
After the 360-day publication period, the listing may expire and may cease to be publicly displayed unless the user chooses to renew it.
The availability and conditions of free listings may be changed for future listings without affecting services already purchased or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
After a listing expires, the user may be offered the option to renew it for another 360-day period.
Renewal may require payment of a small fee.
The applicable price and renewal period will be displayed before the user confirms payment.
Listings will not automatically renew unless an automatic-renewal option is specifically offered and the user expressly chooses it.
Directory Shops may offer Premium, Featured or other paid listing options.
Paid options may include additional visibility, presentation features or other benefits described at the time of purchase.
The price, duration and features included in each paid option will be displayed before payment.
Purchasing a Premium or Featured listing does not guarantee a specific position in Google, Bing or any other external search engine.
Payments for renewals, Premium listings and other paid services may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal.
The applicable price and any taxes required by law will be displayed before the user confirms the transaction.
Payment details may be processed directly by the selected payment provider.
Directory Shops does not need to store complete payment-card information when payment information is entered directly into the payment provider's secure system.
Stripe, PayPal and other payment providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and content of the listings they publish.
Listings must not contain false or misleading information, fraudulent offers, unlawful products or services, malicious links, defamatory content, intellectual-property infringements or material prohibited by applicable law.
Businesses should keep their listing information reasonably accurate and up to date.
Directory Shops may review, reject, suspend, modify or remove a listing where reasonably necessary to protect the website, visitors, third parties or the integrity of the directory.
Publication of a listing does not mean that Directory Shops endorses, verifies or guarantees the business.
Users may upload photographs, logos, descriptions and other content to their listings.
Users must have the necessary ownership, licence or permission to publish that content.
Users retain ownership of their original content.
By publishing content on Directory Shops, the user grants Directory Shops a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, resize and technically process that content where necessary to operate and promote the directory and the relevant listing.
Directory Shops may remove content that infringes third-party rights or violates these Terms.
Listings may contain links to third-party websites, online stores, marketplaces, booking platforms, social networks or other external services.
Directory Shops does not control those external websites and is not responsible for their availability, prices, products, services, security, content or privacy practices.
Purchases, reservations, contracts and communications made through third-party websites take place between the visitor and the relevant third party.
Users should review the terms and privacy policies of external websites before using them.
Directory Shops aims to provide useful business information but cannot guarantee that every listing is complete, accurate or current at all times.
Visitors should verify important information directly with the relevant business before making a payment, reservation, purchase or other important decision.
Users must not use Directory Shops for illegal activity, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware distribution, misleading advertising, intellectual-property infringement or attempts to compromise the security or operation of the website.
Listings must not promote products, services or activities prohibited by applicable law.
Directory Shops may restrict automated scraping, systematic extraction or unauthorized copying of website content where permitted by law.
The Directory Shops name, branding, website design, software, database structure and original website materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party trademarks, company names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
The presence of a company or trademark in the directory does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement by Directory Shops.
Directory Shops reserves the right to investigate reported listings and content.
Accounts or listings may be suspended or removed where they violate these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights or website security requirements.
Where appropriate, users may be given an opportunity to correct a problem before permanent removal.
When a listing reaches the end of its publication period, it may become inactive, hidden or unavailable to visitors.
Directory Shops may retain account information and records associated with an expired listing where necessary for account administration, fraud prevention, legal obligations, accounting or dispute resolution.
Any refund, withdrawal or cancellation rights required by applicable law remain unaffected by these Terms.
Where a particular paid service has specific cancellation or refund conditions, those conditions will be shown before or during the purchase process.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy.
Visitors may be provided with controls to manage non-essential cookies where required.
Directory Shops may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical, legal or business reasons.

Directory Shops acts primarily as a directory and information platform.
Directory Shops is not generally a party to transactions between visitors and listed businesses.
